What we're looking for

Block Wars are looking for a video editor to join the team. We’re looking for someone who is self driven and passionate about creating incredible content within the Minecraft space.

⚠️  This is a volunteer position

Qualifications

• Thoroughly comfortable working with an editing program of your choice
• Experience editing long form content (eg. episodic content, stream highlights, scripted content) for upload to social media
• Experience editing short form content for upload to social media
• Flexibility of both editing to a specific style, and editing within one’s own style
• A quick and efficient editing style for high-profile videos
• A complete understanding of a video production workflow
• Excellent communication with team members and management
• Organised and self-sufficient

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience working in specific editing programs, especially DaVinci Resolve and/or Adobe Premiere Pro
• Experience with creating motion graphics and navigating appropriate motion graphics/effects software - eg. Adobe After Effects, DaVinci Resolve Fusion, etc
